Job Description
The Member Service Representative/ Loan Officer position is responsible for providing quality and timely member services, promoting a high level of member satisfaction, and exercising sound credit decisions within specified limits. The position requires effective written and verbal communication skills, past experience in a dynamic, collaborative team environment, and the ability to obtain a National Mortgage License Service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of professionally related experience or 1 year directly related experience in a Credit Union or financial institution
  • Associate's Degree is preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills required
  • Past experience should demonstrate the ability to excel in a dynamic, collaborative, team environment
  • The individual must be 'bondable' as a financial institution employee
  • Must have the ability to obtain a National Mortgage License Service
  • Experience in opening new accounts, debit card processing or ACH processing is preferred
  • Experience in originating, processing, or funding consumer loans preferred
  • Knowledge of lien perfection, accounting, marketing, or collections is preferred
