Job Description
The AVP, Accounting & Financial Reporting will lead a team in preparation and review of financial statements, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, and provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions. The role will serve as a strategic advisor to the CAO, CFO, and senior leadership on accounting implications of significant transactions and business initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA required
  • 10-15+ years of experience in accounting
  • Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in a large, complex organization
  • Public company/SEC experience preferred
  • Multi-currency and international accounting experience preferred
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Strong experience in technical accounting research and memo preparation
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to influence across functions and communicate effectively with senior leadership and external auditors
