Role OverviewResponsible for overnight program activities in a community living arrangement. Provide individual and group support to persons served; teach skills to enhance independence and quality of life. Ensure a safe, secure and clean residential environment.
What You Will Do
Assist in implementing treatment programs, maintain records, provide training and support, monitor physical and emotional needs, store and administer medication, and participate in mandated training and staff meetings.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must remain awake, alert and dressed throughout the entire shift. Must perform last minute coverage as required. Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Three months to one year experience in a related function
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- CPR certification within two weeks of hire
- First Aid certification within two weeks of hire
- MAP certification within 150 days of hire
- PBS Tier 1 certification within 150 days of hire
- Safety Care certification within 90 days of hire
