Job Description
Award Administrator job description at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). The Award Administrator reports to the Associate Director of Awards Services and works closely with the award services team within the Office of Sponsored Programs. The job involves overseeing a portfolio of awards, facilitating the award review process, and working with the Contract Services team to review and issue contracts and subawards.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization
  • Experience managing the day-to-day activities of sponsored awards, i.e. grants administration and/or research administration
  • In-depth knowledge of federal regulations for institutions of higher education, i.e. Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements – 2 CFR 200
