Job Description
Our client is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to manage, support, and continuously improve our cloud infrastructure. This role plays a critical part in building and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable AWS environments that support customer-facing applications and internal systems.

Requirements

  • Maintain deep technical expertise in AWS and related cloud technologies.
  • Design, implement, and support secure AWS solutions following best practices across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Monitor cloud environments to ensure performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency; implement enhancements as needed.
  • Design and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to support rapid incident detection and response.
  • Identify, analyze, and remediate infrastructure and configuration vulnerabilities.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, document resolutions, and implement preventive measures.
  • Own backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and failover processes.
  • Conduct regular environment reviews and support monthly/quarterly audits and security risk assessments.
  • Recommend and lead cloud infrastructure improvements and modernization efforts.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact users or operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and document cloud standards and best practices.

Benefits

  • Generous base salary: $150,000–$180,000+
