Role OverviewAs a Backend Software Engineer Intern, you'll help improve the TikTok social experience and bring joy to hundreds of millions of users every day. You'll gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals.
What You Will Do
Create and refine high-performance mobile apps, work closely with the product team to conceptualize, develop, and launch new features, participate in designing, architecting, and implementing well-tested Objective-C software, and promote robust and maintainable code.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during the Summer of 2027.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases.
- Good team communication and collaboration skills.
