Job Description
Job summary: Seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the general maintenance of equipment involved in the bacon manufacturing process, ensuring proper functioning and implementing schedules to complete projects on time. Key responsibilities include coordinating with maintenance, production, safety, and QA teams, prioritizing work orders, and promoting safety in all aspects of maintenance.

Requirements

  • Be able to communicate verbally and in written form in English
  • Ability to perform general mathematical calculations
  • Mechanical inclination and knowledge of job specifications
  • Industrial construction experience beneficial
  • 3 years of direct maintenance experience required
  • Previous supervisory experience highly preferred
  • Considerable knowledge of the methods, materials, tools, and practices used in the building, mechanical, and electrical trades
  • Previous mechanical and related experience required
  • Considerable knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
  • Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
