Role Overview

Join our Festival Foods team as a Baker! Our bakery plays a pivotal role in crafting unforgettable experiences for guests' events and everyday moments alike. Providing excellent guest service is at the heart of what we do. Whether it’s a friendly greeting, answering questions or addressing guest concerns, you’ll handle each interaction with professionalism and care.

What You Will Do

As a Baker at Festival Foods, you will: Follow recipes and production lists precisely to ensure high-quality bakery and pastry items. Monitor dates and freshness, handle outdated items properly, and report shrinkage. Adhere to all Health Department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and dry storage.

Requirements

  • Customer Focus: Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and all personnel.
  • Effective Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly assess and resolve issues in a dynamic and stressful work environment, while supporting team members.
  • Safety Awareness: Comprehensive understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies, including proper training on ovens, lifting techniques, trash compactor, baler, mixers, slicing and packaging machinery, and other equipment.
  • Retail Expertise: Knowledge of the retail food business and perishable department operations, with the ability to make timely and effective decisions.
