Role OverviewThis is a role for an attorney who can handle Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 matters, contested proceedings, adversary litigation, hearings, discovery, and complex commercial disputes. You'll have direct relationships with clients and access to partners from day one, while working on matters that are genuinely contested and consequential.
What You Will Do
Represent creditors in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and related bankruptcy proceedings, handle adversary proceedings and contested matters, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and bankruptcy court filings, and manage discovery and all phases of litigation.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires an attorney with 5+ years of creditor-side bankruptcy litigation experience, demonstrated courtroom and adversary proceeding experience, and strong written and oral advocacy skills.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Georgia Bar membership in good standing
- 5+ years of creditor-side bankruptcy litigation experience
- Demonstrated courtroom and adversary proceeding experience
- Northern District of Georgia Bankruptcy Court experience strongly preferred
