Role OverviewJoin the banquet kitchen team at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, a luxury resort with over 300,000 square feet of meeting space. As a Banquet Cook 1, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food to guests. The resort offers a range of amenities, including six sparkling heated pools and a luxurious Well & Being Spa. The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess has been recognized with the AAA Five Diamond rating for over 30 years.
What You Will Do
Your main responsibilities will include preparing and serving food according to hotel recipes and standards, maintaining proper rotation of product in all chillers, and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment. You will also be expected to follow kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards, as well as safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.

Requirements
- Previous experience in the Culinary field required in Garde Manger and Hot Kitchen in a 4 or 5 Diamond Hotel - Banquet kitchen
- Southwest Cooking knowledge
- Diploma or Certification in a Culinary discipline an asset
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
