Job Description
The Banquet Manager is responsible for hiring, training, and directing banquet staff to ensure successful events and repeat business. They supervise set up and clean up of function rooms, communicate with staff and guests, and process payroll and billing information.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma preferred
  • 3 years of experience in a high volume banquet setting
  • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers
  • Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English
  • Knowledge of various types of equipment and set up styles used in the meeting rooms
  • Ability to lift and move multiple tables and chairs and podiums weighing up to 80 pounds
