Job Description
The Banquet Supervisor (Captain) oversees banquet operations, including room set-up, service, and clean-up for banquet functions. This role is responsible for maintaining banquet equipment, ensuring function spaces are visually appealing, and supporting the presentation of food and beverage offerings for events.

Requirements

  • Supervise banquet set-up, service execution, and event breakdowns
  • Ensure banquet rooms and event spaces are properly prepared according to event orders and standards
  • Oversee banquet colleagues during events to ensure efficient and professional service
  • Assist with food and beverage presentation, buffet displays, and beverage service standards
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of banquet areas and equipment
  • Monitor room refreshes and event transitions throughout service periods
  • Communicate effectively with culinary, event planning, and hotel operations teams
  • Assist with training and coaching banquet colleagues as needed
  • Address guest concerns and provide prompt service recovery when necessary
  • Ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards
