Role Overview

The Bars and Nightlife Manager will lead a team of expertly trained professionals to execute innovative and experiential programming while driving a healthy bottom line. The position is responsible for oversight of the hotel's bar/beverage program, short and long-term planning, and day-to-day operations of the nightlife venues and related areas.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities include planning and managing the nightlife venues and related F&B operations, directing and assisting in the development of competitive promotional plans, monitoring and maintaining beverage inventory levels and costs, and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of restaurant/bar management experience
  • Experience running shifts without supervision
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing new concepts in a hotel or hospitality establishment
  • Ability to work late nights and weekends
  • Solid understanding of the nightlife business and Nashville music scene
  • Ability to sustain composure, remain calm, and possess a positive attitude
  • Energetic, outgoing, and unimpeachable character
  • Service-oriented with excellent customer service skills and obsession to detail
  • Team player with the ability to lead and motivate staff
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to input data and access information on the computer
  • Creative thinker with the ability to implement action plans that grow business
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and previous experience with a hotel management system (MICROS preferred)
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the English language
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion
  • Ability to secure state required TABC License
