Bar and Nightlife Manager

Dream Nashville is looking for a highly motivated Bars and Nightlife Manager to lead a team of expertly trained professionals that execute innovative and experiential programming while driving a healthy bottom line. The position is responsible for oversight of the hotel’s bar/beverage program, short and long-term planning, and day-to-day operations of the nightlife venues and related areas.

What You Will Do

Plan and manage the nightlife venues and related F&B operations to achieve customer satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals. Direct and assist in the development of competitive promotional plans, monitor and maintain beverage inventory levels and costs, and manage beverage programming throughout all nightlife venues. Ensure payroll is completed correctly and on-time, and manage standard procedures for cash transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of restaurant /bar management experience, experience running shifts without supervision
• Demonstrated experience in the process of creating and implementing new concepts in a hotel or hospitality establishment
• Solid understanding of the nightlife business and Nashville music scene
• Must be able to work late nights and weekends
• Must be able to secure state required TABC License
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and previous experience with a hotel management systems; MICROS preferred
• Must be able to read, write and understand the English language
