Role OverviewThis position is accountable for providing marine project support to Orion, supervising daily on-going operations on the work barge, and ensuring all work performed is done in a safe and efficient manner. The incumbent will work closely with the Project Superintendent, Project Engineer, Safety Representative, and other skilled or semi-skilled craft persons on the work site.
What You Will Do
Works as assigned by the Project Superintendent to ensure the successful completion of current on-going marine construction projects. Oversees the movement of marine floating rigs, receives and handles material and equipment, and performs operations such as pile driving, marine loading arms, and miscellaneous dock repairs.

Requirements
- A minimum of five (5) years marine construction experience on a work barge or equivalent experience in a marine construction supervisory capacity
- Well-versed in receiving and handling of equipment used for marine operations
- Knowledge of the integration of various crafts to successfully perform their work
- Craft knowledge including piledriving, crane operations, welding, carpentry, sandblasting, pipefitting, and related areas
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Ability to keep simple records of time and material used for each project
