Bariatric Coordinator (RN)

Requirements

• Utilize the nursing process in collecting data and performing nursing care interventions.
• Document all required information in a timely, thorough, and accurate manner.
• Deliver quality care in an organized manner within the scope of practice.
• Coordinate, order, and meet multiple patient needs and requests within acceptable time frame.
• Lead and actively participate in multidisciplinary, bariatric, and MBSAQIP committee meetings.
• Assist in program development, managing the accreditation process, and ensuring continuous compliance with MBASQIP standards.
• Provide education to clinical staff on metabolic and bariatric patient safety.
