Job Description
Barrel Layup Technicians apply carbon fiber to Christensen Arms carbon barrels using a proprietary layup process. They require attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures. The role involves organizing barrels, operating manual and CNC lathes, learning various carbon fiber materials, and maintaining inventory levels.

Requirements

  • Ability to learn and apply proper carbon fiber layup techniques.
  • Ability to operate both manual and CNC lathes.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to meet production goals.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to take tasks from start to finish independently.
  • Effective time management skills to consistently produce 30–40 barrels per day, as required.
  • Adequate hand–eye coordination to safely and efficiently operate lathes.
