The Bartender for the brand-new center bar and lounge, Octavia, at Caesars New Orleans Casino provides friendly, excellent service to every customer who approaches the bar and prepares and pours drinks for customers.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age and must be a certified bartender.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous bartending experience required.
  • Knowledge of operating cash register and bar equipment is required.
  • Flexibility in fingers and hands to operate cash register and beverage guns; pickup glasses, ice scoop and use a shot glass to measure liquor according to procedure.
  • Mathematical ability including the ability to add and subtract.
  • Ability to work with hands in ice for period up to 4 hours.
  • Ability to stand and walk for periods of up to 4 hours.
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
