Job Description
Serves guest(s) food and beverage items in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Assists with department training, development and implementing customer service standards. Performs various duties as a bartender, including stocking, mixing, and serving alcoholic beverages, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

  • Assists with new partner training

  • Develops positive relationships with shift team
  • Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products
  • Performs opening and closing duties
  • Communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed
  • Attends to the detail and presentation of each order
  • Prepares and maintains ingredients by following recipes
  • Must have basic wine knowledge. Familiar with wine pairings
  • Accountable for checks and cash transactions
  • Utilizes POS System
  • Follows established cash handling procedures and ensures that other staff adhere to procedures
  • Coordinates daily supply of inventory for bar and submits orders to supervisor
  • Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management
  • Contributes to daily, holiday, and theme drink menus in collaboration with supervisor
  • Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events, if needed
  • Instructs personnel in use of new equipment and cleaning methods and provides efficient and effective methods of maintaining work area
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
  • Regular and reliable attendance
