Bartender

As a Cheba Hut Bartender, you will be responsible for your daily bartending, line, lobby, and patio duties. You will work with your MOD, AGM, and GM to ensure your daily bartending responsibilities meet all the required standards. You will uphold ALL liquor laws to protect the liquor license, business, and its employees. While bartending at Cheba Hut you will be expected to set a comfortable environment so that everyone feels welcome.

What You Will Do

Serve drinks as needed, receive all liquor and beer deliveries, complete opening, shift change, closing, and cleaning checklists, promote and sell daily and happy hour specials, and check with the bar manager or GM to make sure tap handles, menus, chalk work, and pricing are always up to date.

Requirements

• Must have ServSafe and/or TIPS certification
• Think ‘shop first’/‘customer first’
• Demonstrate integrity
• Demonstrate self-direction
• Ability to follow oral and written instruction
• Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully to employees and customers
• Ability to work with a diverse team and culture
• Food safety/handling training (as required by state)
• Must operate equipment safely
