Role OverviewThe Bartender will provide an energetic and outgoing personality while maintaining professionalism, performing varied duties to ensure all aspects of the proper steps of service, and communicating effectively with co-workers and guests.
What You Will Do
The Bartender will mix ingredients and prepare cocktails, serve wine and beer, take beverage orders, and accurately record and account for all items ordered and secure payment from guests.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience with bartending at high volume bars and/or nightclubs, knowledge of liquor brands, and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years experience with bartending at high volume bars and/or nightclubs
- Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments
- Formal bartending training preferred
- Must meet state legal age requirements
- Must speak fluent English, other languages preferred
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
