Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and personable Bartender to join our team at Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. The ideal candidate should have experience working in high volume bars and have a friendly and welcoming disposition.

Requirements

  • Prior bartending experience in a hotel establishment or similar environment
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a team player
  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • Must have physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift moderate amounts of weight
  • Must be available work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • 21+ years old to serve alcohol
  • Intimate knowledge of - and experience with - various spirits, classic cocktails, beer, & wine
  • TIPS/ServSafe Alcohol Certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions
  • Familiarity with basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating drink prices
  • Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
