Role OverviewThe Behavior Support Supervisor is responsible for providing direct and indirect behavior analysis and behavioral programming services to students in the New Windsor School & Preschool program. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior plans and guidelines for assigned students and the overall school. The supervisor will oversee the behavior support team and provide evidence-based behavioral intervention strategies to classroom staff, therapists, and families.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include assisting the coordinator of behavioral services, providing professional development presentations, collecting and analyzing student behavior incidents, and attending CSE meetings. The supervisor will also train classroom staff and clinicians on internal data tracking methods, respond to behavior support calls, and serve as the PBIS subcommittee chair.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This position requires a Master's Degree in Psychology, School Psychology, or a related field, and current BCBA certification or the ability to achieve certification within six months. The supervisor will work with students with developmental disabilities, and must have strong behavioral analysis skills and at least two years of experience.
