Role OverviewAs a Behavior Technician at Merakey, you will work with an extraordinary team to make a change in the life of a child. You will use evidence-based treatments, such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), to provide 1:1 direct service in family homes, schools, and community settings. You will have fun and let your personality shine while applying individualized treatment.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include reviewing and implementing IEP or treatment plans, completing timely ongoing data collection, providing behavioral interventions and physical interventions as needed, and monitoring client performance and recording relevant data to assess progress.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Our ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, availability to work full days, and 3-6 months of experience working with people with developmental disabilities. Experience working with children with autism is preferred.
