Job Description
Role Overview

As a Behavior Technician, you will work one on one with autistic/emotional support students in a school setting, helping them achieve their academic and behavioral goals. You will be part of a team where you can have fun and be an integral part of our students' development. You will work with a wide variety of students, each unique and amazing, and help them learn in a trauma-informed environment.

What You Will Do

You will help students achieve their Individual Education Plan (IEP) and Positive Behavior Support Plan (PBSP) goals, accompany and assist them with activities and daily living, and implement and follow through with client/student behavior plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or general educational development (GED) is required.
  • 6 months of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities required.
  • 6 months experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
