Role Overview

Merakey is seeking a Behavior Technician to work with autistic/emotional support students in a school setting. The role involves helping students achieve their academic and behavioral goals, following their Individual Education Plan (IEP) and Positive Behavior Support Plan (PBSP).

What You Will Do

The Behavior Technician will work one on one with students, provide behavioral interventions and physical interventions as needed, monitor client performance, and record relevant data to assess progress.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or general educational development (GED)
  • Availability to work Full Day of 8:15 am - 3:15 pm Monday – Friday
  • 3-6 months of experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Experience working with children with autism is preferred
