Role Overview

The Behavioral Health Assessor provides a full range of services for patients and their families, including clinical assessments, treatment planning, crisis management, and insurance authorization. The role involves collaboration with nursing staff and the medical team to determine the appropriate level of care through a clinical assessment.

What You Will Do

Assess patients for risk factors, diagnose patients, develop treatment plans, and communicate with patients and families about safety plans and resources.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Master's Degree from accredited University in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy
  • 1 or more years of related experience
  • Master’s level Licensure with the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (KS), Licensed Master Social Worker (KS), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (KS)
