Role OverviewJoin our team at Geisinger Behavioral Health Center Northeast in Moosic, PA, as a Behavioral Health Associate. We're a brand-new, 96-bed inpatient facility caring for adolescents and adults with acute behavioral health needs. As a BHA, you'll work in a supportive environment with endless growth opportunities, providing a positive, structured environment for patients and their families.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting safety checks, ensuring patient well-being, documenting clinical information, and interacting with patients to observe behaviors and communicate significant observations to nursing staff. You'll also assist with activities of daily living, obtain patient vital signs, and facilitate patient educational-rehabilitative groups.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or more experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility)
- First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements
