Role Overview

As a Behavioral Health Counselor, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing patient assessments and treatment. You will assist in providing supportive counseling, case management, and community support services. The role involves assessing patient and family needs, developing treatment plans, and evaluating patient care.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include screening and evaluating requests for service, collecting and reporting social history, intervening in crisis situations, and developing individual plans with clients. You will also work with an interdisciplinary team to review cases and develop individual plans.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health and advanced verbal and written communication skills. One year of experience interacting with clients in an outpatient setting is preferred.
