Job Description
The Behavioral Health Medical Director will oversee behavioral health medical services, ensuring timely and consistent responses to members and providers. This role will provide guidance on clinical operational aspects, conduct peer-to-peer clinical reviews, and serve as a resource to staff.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board certification approved by one of the following certifying boards: American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
  • Active unrestricted medical license to practice medicine or a health profession in Indiana
  • Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid preferred
  • Knowledge/expertise in geriatric psychiatry preferred
