Role Overview

As a Behavioral Health Mentor, you will provide relief to Foster caregivers and support activities that align with The Village Network's Mission, Vision & Values. You will work with a diverse population, utilizing Collaborative Problem Solving and The Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics to address individual needs. You will be part of a team that has a passion for what they do and the people they serve.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include providing temporary relief for caregivers, supporting clients' efforts toward treatment goals, and implementing the 6 R's strategies when working with clients. You will also engage with client family members, present in a professional and courteous manner, and interact with clients within TVN's trauma-informed models.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You will be a good fit for this role if you have 2+ years of experience working with youth, a High School Diploma, and a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services or related field. You should be able to work with a diverse population, use a computer, and be proficient with Microsoft Office products. You will also need to be 21 years of age or older and have a valid Ohio Driver's License.

Requirements
