Job Description
The State of Connecticut, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavioral Health Program Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation and ongoing functions of agency programs funded through the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP).
Requirements
Manage resources, and contractors, including serving as the key point of contact for all applicable RTHP DMHAS contractors.
Collaborate and integrate RTHP programming across applicable DMHAS Divisions including Evidence-Based Practices, Statewide Services Division, and Managed Services Division.
Collaborate with other state agencies especially as relevant to implementing the projects assigned to this role.
Facilitate ongoing stakeholder engagement related to projects assigned to this role including building and maintaining partnerships with rural primary care providers, behavioral health agencies, hospitals, local health departments, and community-based organizations.
Create and update policies and procedures and contract language for projects funded under the RHTP.
Provide administrative direction in the processing of contracts for DMHAS.
Provide administrative direction in data elements and collection for RHTP funded projects.
Develop and maintain progress reports and other reports for submission to appropriate federal and state agencies.
Collaborate with state agencies and other organizations in the planning/development of programs to benefit individuals experiencing behavioral health needs in Connecticut with a specific focus on the State’s rural areas.
Administer and analyze, for accuracy, agency budgets/contracts.
Participate in decision making process of state and federal grants.
Provide administrative direction in RHTP funded program’s conformance/adherence to relevant federal and state statutes, assuring no policy or administrative decision contradicts state or federal law or RHTP policies.
Programmatic and contract oversight of funded agencies providing services under the RHTP.
Represent DMHAS at various statewide crisis services workgroups.
