Job Description
This is a technical position that involves the direct care of adults with severe and persistent mental illness. It requires a homelike environment to enable residents to learn and develop daily living skills and socialization and leisure skills.

Requirements

  • Assists consumers in learning independent living skills
  • Participates in ensuring nutritious community meals are planned and served
  • Monitors consumer medication adherence
  • Reports changes in client behavior and functioning to Master's Level Clinician or physician
  • Ensures residents maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene
  • Ensures residents leave for their day program, job or school appropriately groomed
  • Ensures the house is clean and complies with DHS 83 CBRF regulations
  • Documents residents' daily behavior and routine in the resident daily log
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings and in-service training seminars
  • Understands and adheres to established policies and procedures
