Role OverviewChild Focus is seeking a dedicated early childhood professional to serve as a Behavior Support Specialist. The Behavior Support Specialist will assist the Teacher and Assistant Teacher with challenging behaviors, using early childhood trauma-informed support and practices in the classroom.
What You Will Do
Provide one-on-one classroom support to children, assist with challenging behaviors, and work cooperatively with the Behavior Support Team.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, as well as two years' experience with children ages birth to five. Experience working with challenging behaviors and providing individualized support is preferred.
