Job Description
The Behavioral Technician is responsible for ensuring behavior management programs are consistently implemented for people served. They establish and maintain therapeutic relationships, promote safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors, and review progress objectively using behavior analytic methods.

Requirements

  • Establishes and maintains therapeutic relationship by building rapport with the person served
  • Promotes safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors
  • Reviews progress of people served objectively using behavior analytic methods
  • Ensures all documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Completes incident reports as required by agency policy and procedure
  • Attends clinical meetings as assigned
