Role Overview

The Bell Captain facilitates a seamless and elevated guest experience from arrival through departure. They greet and welcome arriving guests, assist with luggage, and operate resort vehicles. The Bell Captain oversees Guest Services, including Bell, Valet, and Adventure Concierge.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring the front door is never left unattended, attending to and assisting with luggage duties, monitoring the main lobby and guest areas, and training new hires. The Bell Captain also assists with check-ins and check-outs, informs guests of safety features, and promotes resort outlets and amenities.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to respond to guest requests and business volume quickly and efficiently. They must also be able to co-ordinate various operational tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent (GED) education required
  • Must possess a valid US driver’s license
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office 365) required; experience with OPERA Cloud, Nuvola, EZFacility, Sertifi, and Salto preferred
  • Must be able to facilitate the communication process: speak, read, write and English
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written, and use of two-way radio device
