Job Description
We are seeking a Benefits Analyst to administer health and welfare benefits, 401(k), leaves of absence, and recognition programs. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant HR experience, with strong analytical and communication skills.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in a relevant discipline, or commensurate experience.
3-5 years relevant HR experience, specifically in benefit administration.
Excellent analytical skills; ability to analyze statistical data, understand and interpret cost impact.
Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employee benefits and leaves of absence (SECURE 2.0, COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, ADA, FMLA, USERRA, etc.) and notice and reporting obligations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to follow established processes while contributing to continuous improvement.
Customer-focused, work efficiently in a fast paced and fluid business environment.
Ability to deal tactfully and confidently with internal and external customers.
Excellent organizational skills, prioritization, and time management skills.
Self-motivated; works well independently and in a team environment.
Ability to work with all levels within the organization.
Strong software skills including MS office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience working with HR software.
Excel skills including the ability to manipulate spreadsheets, v-lookups, create pivot tables and summarize data from multiple sources.
