The Benefits Assistant will play a key part in supporting HDR's comprehensive employee benefits programs across the U.S. and Canada, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service throughout every interaction.
What You Will Do
The Benefits Assistant will respond to routine benefit inquiries, process and audit benefit changes, provide administrative support for various benefit programs, manage international PTO tracking, and support ongoing administration of HDR's health and welfare plans.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience with HRIS, Payroll, and Benefits related systems, a minimum of 2 years of Benefits related experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will be self-motivated, well-organized, and able to adhere to deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent related work experience
- Proficient using MS Suite
- Self-motivated, well-organized and strong attention to detail
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate well and display good customer service on the phone, via email and face-to-face
- Must be willing to keep up with changing laws and regulations
- Must have the ability to keep a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality
