Job Description
As a Bakery Clerk, you will maintain the freshness and presentation of fresh baked items, assist customers, and handle inventory management. You will work in a fast-paced environment, rotating products, inspecting shipments, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Requirements

  • Arrange and display bakery items in an appealing and organized manner
  • Rotate products to ensure older items are sold before new ones
  • Inspect incoming shipments for quality and freshness
  • Maintain quality standards and work in a damage-free manner
  • Monitor inventory levels and restock areas as needed
  • Assist customers in selecting fresh produce
  • Provide information on fruits and vegetables
  • Answer customer inquiries and address concerns
  • Keep the produce department clean and sanitized
  • Remove products that do not meet store quality standards
  • Communicate with management regarding inventory and sales
  • Ensure accurate pricing and labeling of items
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
