Role OverviewThe Beverage Manager oversees all aspects of beverage service, including inventory control, ensuring proper pours, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area. This role ensures that all service provided meets or exceeds member expectations by consistently applying the 3-steps of service.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include overseeing inventory management, adapting to member interest, managing cellar and storage conditions, collaborating with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Director on menu development, creating imaginative cocktail and beer menus, ensuring staff are trained in proper techniques and recipes, and ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation practices.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a college degree in the Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management, a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, a minimum of 2 years of experience in the wine industry, and achieved and maintained at least a Level 1 Sommelier Certificate (CMS1).
