Job Description
Youth Certified Peer Specialist (CPS-Y) position providing emotional support and connecting people with resources for mental health and substance use conditions. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a mental health or substance use condition, and a strong desire to identify as a person living with a diagnosis. Must be willing to actively seek and manage own care and provide letters of reference. Work location is C&A Clinics in Waycross, GA, with a salary range of $16.06-$21.63/hour.

Requirements

  • Be 18-26 years of age
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Have a mental health or substance use condition or co-occurring diagnosis
  • Be willing to actively seek and manage own care
  • Be able to share personal story in a safe and appropriate way
  • Provide (2) letters of reference
