Role Overview

This position provides direct clinical diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapy to assigned clients and families. The position will also provide clinical consultation to other programs and staff as needed. The role is part of the Clinical Program located in the Waukegan office.

What You Will Do

Provides direct clinical services, including outreach, case planning, and crisis coverage. Also provides clinical training to staff and coordinates collateral therapeutic services. Maintains records and statistical reports, and meets billing requirements.

Requirements

  • MA, MSW, or ability to become clinically licensed in Illinois
  • LPC, LSW, LCPC, LCSW preferred
  • Minimum 6 months, internship experience is accepted, direct service experience with similar populations
  • Bilingual required
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion and use sound, and independent judgment
  • Must have a perceptive awareness and responses of children, adolescents, and the capacity to work effectively with adults
  • Ability to work some evenings/weekends hours
  • Must meet and maintain Agency driving standards
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word required
  • Access to insured auto is required
  • Traveling is required
