Role OverviewThe Bilingual Communications Coordinator reports to the Supervisor and is responsible for developing and implementing programs, creating/writing/editing and translating English/Spanish publications to enhance MLGW communications efforts with Spanish-speaking customers. This role coordinates departmental work with other divisions, social/community/governmental agencies, customers, and external entities to achieve departmental objectives.
What You Will Do
Plan, coordinate, and participate in community involvement activities such as special events, employee assistance programs, public speaking appearances, and community partnerships/workshops. Create and execute Spanish public service announcements for print, radio, and television, and assist in developing the Spanish section of MLGW's website. Plan/coordinate internal/external committee/advisory group meetings and represent MLGW at community meetings and events.
