Collective Choice, an Alera Group company, is looking for a Bilingual Health Insurance Agent (Korean/English) to join our team for a new role based from our Koreatown office location. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Bilingual Health Insurance Agent, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing education, guidance, and exceptional service throughout the enrollment process.

  • Guide clients through health, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance options, tailoring plans to meet their individual needs and budgets.
  • Engage with prospective and existing clients by phone, online, and in person, ensuring timely follow-ups to maximize enrollment and satisfaction.
  • Clearly explain insurance concepts such as subsidies, deductibles, co-pays, and out-of-pocket maximums, empowering clients to make informed decisions.
  • Accurately maintain client records in our CRM system and on platforms such as Covered California, ensuring compliance, confidentiality, and data security.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and connect clients with appropriate resources when additional support is needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals, share best practices, brainstorm marketing ideas, and maintain a welcoming, professional office environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual fluency in Korean and English (spoken and written).
  • High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework or degree a plus).
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of health insurance plans, benefits, and enrollment processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of self-motivation, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Comfort using Google Workspace and CRM tools.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and eager to learn and grow within the industry.

Hourly range is $20 to $24 per hour + commission.
