Job Description
The Bilingual Housing Program Case Aide is responsible for providing support services to youth and families in need of housing assistance. This role involves working closely with housing advocates, clients, and community partners to provide in-home supportive services, community resource referrals, advocacy, and other social service interventions. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, have a strong work ethic, and be able to drive own vehicle within the service area.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree preferred or two years of college coursework
  • 2 years of work experience working in direct service strongly preferred
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with the Chicagoland area strongly preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and good driving record required
  • Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers and photocopiers as well as software including word processing and spreadsheets
