Bilingual Teacher (Grades: K-4)

Requirements

• Develop and implement lesson plans
• Prepare lessons for students with different learning styles
• Present subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency and school district policies
• Establish efficient classroom management procedures
• Establish and maintain standards of pupil behavior
• Evaluate and record students' progress and report to parents
• Provide a variety of planned learning experiences
• Identify pupil needs and cooperate with other staff members
• Be available for counseling with students and parents
• Share the responsibility of interpreting educational programs to the community
• Plan and coordinate the work of aides and student teachers
• Participate in evaluation and assessment
• Keep accurate records of student information
• Perform all other tasks and duties assigned
