Role OverviewThe Transportation Specialist for La Jornada will perform duties including but not limited to: coordinating transportation, physically escorting children, and supervising youth while in transit. The role requires prolonged periods of walking and standing, physical agility, and the ability to participate in physical interventions with youth when necessary.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include coordinating transportation, maintaining a daily roster of times, dates, destinations, transporters, and length of transport, providing documentation of missed appointments, and ensuring daily cleanliness and upkeep of vehicles.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with at-risk youth
- Bilingual English/Spanish fluency
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Automotive insurance
- Good driving record
- Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones, and tablets
- Software proficiency, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
