Role Overview

The Billing Manager will lead the oversight and day-to-day operation of the wholesale billing and settlement function, supporting complex sales transactions between CEI and its Members, and CEI purchases from third-party partners. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate internal and regulatory reporting, making it an important contributor to operational excellence, compliance, and financial integrity.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include managing billing for physical purchases and sales of power and natural gas, electric transmission, natural gas transportation, and financial instruments such as swaps and options. The Billing Manager will also ensure that monthly wholesale billing is executed at the highest level within due dates and maintain relationships with internal and external billing stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or other related field
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a billing department
  • Electric utility industry experience is preferred
