Job Description
Join IHCS as a Billing Special Project team member and assist the Billing and Collections department in special projects, reviewing and updating billing records, and identifying duplicate member accounts and insurance eligibility. The ideal candidate has 1 year of experience in healthcare billing and coding support within Home Care Services, with medical biller/coder certification highly desired.

Requirements

  • 1 year of healthcare billing and coding support experience within Home Care Services
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
