Role OverviewThe BIM Manager will lead and manage BIM related activities for a major Healthcare Project in the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have experience in helping project teams plan and manage BIM project teams and skilled in the development of BIM execution strategies. The role reports to both the San Francisco HDR office and a nearby client Construction & Design Center offsite.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and integrating a strong / recurring meeting and coordination schedule for the project, leading weekly BIG room BIM meetings, and maintaining communication with project team and leadership. They will also participate in the evaluation, testing, and implementation of design technology and workflows for use on the project.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of the Architectural design process and uses of BIM and design technology in different stages, as well as experience in the practical application of BIM and design technologies to support collaboration and effective coordination of whole building design in an integrated delivery approach.
Requirements
- Associate or Technical School Degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
- Minimum 10 years industry experience
- Strong computer skills using AutoCAD, Revit 3D Modeling and Microsoft Office
- Ability to prepare drawings and details
- Experience within the AEC industry and client standards for BIM
- Experience leading cross-discipline all team BIM execution
- Familiarity with project management related to BIM
